The PrevInf Model was established as a proposal of value in the development and modification of the nursing curricula in the Asian partners HEIs, as a result of the continuous integration of diverse team of experts, nursing professionals and recognized Institutions. It was developed as a generic model, which is independent of local teaching or working culture in nursing.
The PrevInf Model will help nursing students develop their competences in HAIs prevention and control, by stimulating critical thinking and decision making, providing them with the necessary high-quality skills to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care that is sensitive to this societal challenge, ensuring that the care provided is safe, efficient and of high quality.
